How a physical inventory actually runs.
Ossool performs fixed asset inventory for organisations of any size. Precision planning, RFID and barcode technology, and experienced field teams, combined to produce a register you can put in front of an auditor.
Scope and plan
We agree the asset classes in scope, the sites to be covered, and the capitalisation threshold. You get a Geographical Location Coverage Plan and an Asset Verification Plan before anyone arrives on site.
Tag and capture
Field teams work room by room against floor plans, applying RFID or barcode tags and capturing identity, location, condition, and custodian for every asset in scope. Tagging is non destructive and chosen to suit the asset and the environment.
Reconcile
Captured data is matched line by line against your existing Fixed Asset Register. Every asset resolves into one of the three states: verified, recorded but not found, or found but not recorded.
Report
You receive a reconciled register, a full variance schedule with each exception explained, condition and valuation notes where in scope, and a set of write off and capitalisation recommendations your finance team can act on directly.
Maintain
A register is accurate on the day it is signed and drifting the day after. We either hand over a maintenance procedure your team runs, or we run it for you.
Working on a live site
Counting assets means walking through occupied guest rooms, working wards, and trading floors. Field teams work to agreed access windows, coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and clinical staff, and schedule around operations rather than the other way round. Disruption is a scoping constraint, not an afterthought.
Start with a scoping call.
Tell us roughly how many assets you carry, across how many sites, and what shape your current register is in. We will come back with a coverage plan, a timeline, and a fixed scope. No obligation, and no cost for the conversation.
